C'est la vie

會去拜訪這座教堂是因為

芬蘭建築史這堂課在課堂中有提到

為了寫學習筆記, 而且又離我住的地方很近

 (搭M號火車到Louhelan asema站, 她就在旁邊)

所以就特別走一趟

沒想到...

外表平平凡凡的她

室內設計風格令我瞠目咋舌

很幸運地在我去拜訪的時候

教堂再30分鐘就準備關門了

管理人員還特別幫我把燈都打開

讓我感受這教堂獨特的氣氛

跟上一篇Academic bookstore一樣

也有從屋頂採光的設計

也使用白色的內裝

也使用橘光搭配藍光的效果

但帶給我的感覺跟Academic bookstore完全不一樣

這直接讓我想到哈利波特的魔法學校-霍格華茲(Hogwart)的大廳

一支支浮在空中的蠟燭

如果你很喜歡芬蘭的室內設計

---以下是我針對這教堂的評論---

It mention Myyrmäki Church during this course, it is located Vantaa, and is not far from Helsinki, so I decided to pay a visit. After I entering the church, a ‘Wow’ came into my mind.

"Architecture is closer to music than to the visual arts. To qualify as architecture, buildings, together with their internal spaces and their details, must be an organic part of the environment, of its grand drama, of its movement and of its spatial sequences. To me, a building as it stands, "as a piece of architecture" is nothing. Its meaning comes only in counterpoint with its surroundings, with life and with light." (Juha Leiviskä, cited inArchitecture and Urbanism, April 1995)

Juha Leiviskä not only create the light in the interior, even while we look at it’s exterior, it somehow feels like it is dancing with light and shadow.

Light is the most sensitive and expressive element in the language of building materials, but the essence and emotional atmosphere of a given space is dependent upon light. Light can express hope, liberation, joy, bliss, devotion or ecstasy - all emotions which the material ways and means of building are scarcely able to evoke. (Juhani Pallasmaa)

As soon as I saw these light lit up, it made me think of the main hall of Hogwarts in Harry Potter. It looks like jellyfish swimming in the sea or the angels flying around.

The use of light and mono-color let me think of one architect in Japan- Ando Tadao, who uses lots of concert and natural light of his architectures.
